Daniela Perez Claim

Daniela is a child and family therapist who works with English and Spanish speakers. She has a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, and completed her undergraduate education in her home state of California where she attended California State University Stanislaus and received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. During her undergraduate and graduate experience, Daniela worked with children and adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds at schools, as well as medical and mental health centers where she facilitated preventative groups targeting different dimensions of wellness. Pursuing her passion for working with children and youth, Daniela’s graduate practicum and internship experience included counseling children, adolescents, and families whom have been trauma survivors. Daniela is culturally competent and versatile in her style of counseling; children and adolescents enjoy her incorporation of play, art, and music in counseling.
