Description
Dr. Badwan’s clinical work is primarily focused on the area of child psychology. He is a fellowship trained psychologist with a post-doctoral specialization from the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine, through the Harris Program In Child Development and Infant Mental Health. Previous to this, Dr. Badwan completed his Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver, a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago. During his training years, the majority of his clinical, academic and research work was in the area of child and family psychology in settings that have included hospitals, schools, child treatment centers and outpatient clinics. Currently, he provides clinical and assessment services tailored to the young child population through his practice at Birch Psychology. He also serves as adjunct supervisor at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology, and as president-elect of Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health (CoAIMH).
